But this time, there was a hot campaign going on in Minato Ward, and my motivation went up!
I immediately took advantage of the campaign.

This is a collaborative campaign between Minato City and PayPay.
If you use PayPay at restaurants and other stores in Minato City, you can get 30% cash back.
The maximum amount is 6,000 yen during the campaign period.
You can pay with your PayPay balance, Yahoo! Card, or PayPay Later (single payment only).
Actually, I heard that it started on October 21, but I didn’t know about it at all. I was surprised to learn about it for the first time last week.
In addition, many stores are offering 20% off coupons because of the Super PayPay Festival.
If you combine them, you can get 50% off, which is a pretty bad campaign.
Since I found out about this campaign, I’ve been going to the participating stores every day for lunch.
As you can see on the special page, there are quite a few restaurants that support this campaign, so I’m thankful.

They are famous for their Mapo Tofu, but of course their other dishes are also very good.
It’s always crowded, but since the start of this campaign, the lines have increased even more.
There is a campaign flyer in the store.
The campaign also applies to lunchboxes, so you can get a full-fledged lunchbox for practically half price, which is quite a bargain!
We visited around 1:30 p.m. and although there was a bit of a line, we entered the store within a few minutes.
The menu on the table was full of handmade items.
It’s been a while since I’ve been here, so I ordered the standard Mapo Tofu Set Meal.
As soon as I ordered, Chinese pickles, salad, and soup arrived.
The color was red, but not too spicy.
After another five minutes of waiting, the main course arrived.
It was a delicious bean-curd soup with a strong accent of sansho (Chinese pepper) and numbing effect.
The tofu is silky and smooth.
They didn’t ask me how spicy it was, but it was quite spicy, so if you don’t like it, you might want to adjust it.
After the meal, we were served with apricot bean curd and tapioca, which was very luxurious.
This was half the price, less than 500 yen in fact!
It was a very satisfying lunch.

I usually choose the Mapo Tofu Set Meal, but this time I changed my mind and ordered the Black Vinegar Sweet and Sour Pork.
I also ordered the mini Marbo (lol).
It was a generous portion.
The sweet and sour pork has a lot of black vinegar, but it’s surprisingly mild and quite easy to eat.
The mapo tofu is as delicious as ever.
Normally this would cost 1,150 yen, but this time the campaign was applied, so it was 575 yen!
