Hello, this is Arlo!
Today, as usual, I was strolling around for lunch after visiting the Hikawa Shrine, and discovered a new restaurant.
The place where Hinoya Curry used to be until the other day has been turned into a miso ramen restaurant.
It seems to be a chain restaurant, and there are many of them in Tokyo, but I’ve never seen it before.
As you can see in the photo, there was a bit of a wait, but we decided to connect.
After waiting for about five minutes, the waitress asked us to get our meal tickets first.
It’s a little hard to see, but there are quite a few types.
I ordered the “Miso Kuma Set,” a set of miso ramen with fried gyoza.
I ordered the “Miso Kuma Set,” which includes miso ramen and fried gyoza.
He also recommended that I order a large bowl of ramen and half a bowl of rice for free, so I did.
I waited at the store again, wondering if I could eat that much of what I ordered.
After a total of about 10 minutes, we entered the restaurant.
There were two tables for four people in the front and a counter with five seats in the back.
It looks like the counter will be available for a few more seats.
The counter looks like this
There are quite a lot of toppings.
It’s hard to find a place that has ma-yu.
I waited for the arrival of the restaurant while looking at the unusual toppings such as shrimp and ground sesame.
After 15 minutes of waiting, the ramen arrived.
This was a miscalculation, as it took 25 minutes from the time we got in line. My break time is running out!
Anyway, here’s what arrived.
I ordered a large bowl of ramen, and it was quite filling.
The dumplings and fried chicken in the set were also large, so it was quite voluminous.
But here’s the good news! The soup was quite tepid (laughs).
Is this the way it’s supposed to be?
Personally, I would prefer it to be a little hotter, but since we didn’t have much time left for rest that day, it was just right.
When I started with the soup, it was a little sweet white miso based.
The taste itself is quite strong and a bit sour.
The noodles were the usual thick noodles that you would expect from miso ramen.
The bean sprouts are crispy without any seasoning.
There is a little bit of a sour taste, but there are various items to change the taste, so you can try them while eating.
I was able to finish it without worrying about it.
It would have been nice if the serving time was a little earlier, but this is a new restaurant, so we’ll have to wait and see.
I’ll look forward to it again.
I’d like to visit again when things settle down a bit.
So long~!
